Data controller

Pure Arctic Beverages AS, org. no. 917 020 272, Bjørgedalen 151, 5141 Fyllingsdalen, Norway, is the data controller. Privacy enquiries go to jan@purearctic.se.

What is collected

An order collects name, company name, company registration number, email address, phone number, delivery address, invoice address, preferred delivery date and any comment. Files uploaded in the designer, such as logo, background image and font, are stored with the design. Signing in stores your email address, and the profile may also hold the name, company, phone number and address you enter yourself. Contact by email stores what you write in the enquiry. If you say yes to email from Pure Arctic when you save a design or send an enquiry, the time of the consent and what you agreed to are stored as well, so that it can be documented.

Purposes and legal basis

Order data is processed to enter into and perform the agreement with the company you represent, meaning proof, production, delivery and invoicing. Accounting data is processed because Norwegian bookkeeping law requires it. Sign-in and saved designs are processed to provide the account you created yourself. Marketing email goes only to those who have said yes to it, and to customers who gave their address in connection with a purchase, for offers on similar goods. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Service messages about your order are sent either way. Analytics on how the site is used runs only where you have given consent.

Suppliers that process data

Pure Arctic uses Supabase for database and file storage, Vercel to run the site, Resend for outgoing email, Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots in the forms, HubSpot to follow up orders and enquiries, and Google Analytics for analytics where consent has been given, and Meta for measuring ads where marketing consent has been given. Name, company name, email address and phone number from the order are transferred to HubSpot. The suppliers process the data on behalf of Pure Arctic and for the purposes set out above. Data is not shared with anyone else, apart from public authorities where the law requires it.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site running, including sign-in and the cart, and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing are set only where you have consented to each of them, and they are chosen separately. Your choice can be changed at any time through the Cookie settings link at the foot of the page.

Retention

Order and invoice data is kept for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires. Account, profile and saved designs are kept while the account is active, and are deleted when you ask for it. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted once the matter is closed. An unsubscribed email address stays on a suppression list, so the address cannot return to a mailing through a later import.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data held about you, to have errors corrected, to have data erased, to ask for processing to be restricted, to object to processing that rests on legitimate interest, and to receive the data in a machine readable format. On erasure the contact details are removed while the suppression list remains, since that list is what keeps the address from being used again. Requests are answered without undue delay. If you believe the processing breaches the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Contact
